Rachel Stuhlmann has carved out her own lane in tennis, and she's not slowing down. The St. Louis native once dreamed of playing professionally, but instead of chasing that path, she's turned herself into one of the sport's most recognizable media personalities — especially on social media.

Stuhlmann had the background to go the traditional route. She was ranked among the top 100 nationally in high school before starring at the University of Missouri, where she became a standout in the Big 12. Coaching came next, but she soon realized her true calling might be something different.
She began blending tennis coverage with her own sense of style, and the combination clicked. Today, she has 317,000 Instagram followers and another 59,000 on TikTok, drawn to her mix of commentary, fashion, and flair. That's earned her plenty of comparisons to golf influencer Paige Spiranac, though Stuhlmann's authenticity has been central to her rise.
"I wanted to start sharing that with my followers," Stuhlmann said of her more personal posts. Her goal has always been to make tennis feel more mainstream and approachable, and the feedback has proven she's doing just that. Fans regularly message her to say she's inspired them to pick up a racket for the first time, something she calls the most rewarding part of her work.
It's also a reminder that tennis doesn't have to be stuck in its traditional box. Stuhlmann has managed to expand the sport's reach in ways few insiders could have imagined.
And while she never became the pro she once envisioned, she's built something arguably just as influential — a platform that mixes personality, sport, and style, and continues to grow by the day.
