The former Wimbledon finalist and recently retired Canadian star shared photos this week from a getaway to the British Virgin Islands, where she spent time soaking up the sun and the moment with her brother, Will.
"This is your sign to do a sibling vacation," Bouchard wrote on Instagram, capturing the relaxed tone of the trip. Will echoed the sentiment in his own post, encouraging others to make the time for a family escape.
Bouchard, who retired in July, mixed island activities with a bit of tennis. She and fellow pro Sloane Stephens took part in the Little Dix Bay Tennis Cup at Rosewood Little Dix, a private Caribbean retreat that hosted clinics, a Pro-Am event, player meetups, and community service initiatives.
The trip also offered a glimpse of Bouchard settling into a new chapter. She shared moments snorkeling, enjoying beach days, and dressing up for nights out, all with the ease of someone no longer tied to the grind of the tour.
Bouchard officially closed her playing career at the National Bank Open in Montreal, falling in three sets to Belinda Bencic in what she had previously announced would be her final tournament.
It was a fitting ending in her hometown for a player who reached the Wimbledon final at just 20 years old and climbed as high as No. 5 in the world.
