Osaka revealed the news on her Instagram story, as she wrote a heartfelt message addressing the split.

"Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship. No bad blood at all, he's a great person and an awesome dad. Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together."

This comes as a surprise to some, as just a few weeks ago Cordae, 27, appeared on the Breakfast Club, in which he said him and Naomi, 27, are "good."

The host pointed out that fans had been speculating about their relationship, as the celebrity couple had not been seen together lately.

"We good," Cordae said. "Me honestly, I am a super private person... I try to be as private as I can with my personal life."

And now with Osaka's announcement, it appears the couple may not have been so "good," as they will go their separate ways.

All in all, both will always be connected through their daughter, Shai, who is one years old.

In an interview shortly after Shai's birth, Osaka spoke on Cordae as a father.

"We built a really good foundation," she told InStyle magazine. "I don't know if it's because he's just an easygoing guy, but I think we just respect each other's opinions. And if we disagree on something, we talk it out. At the end of the day, we both want what's best for Shai."
