While many should have congratulated Thrasher for her great accomplishment, Republican Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska took to Twitter to share his thoughts.

So did Radio America's talk radio host, Dana Loesch.

Others spoke their mind to say how her name was extremely fitting:

However, others couldn't help but bash the fact that she won.

Regardless, Thrasher has plenty of reason to be pleased with her performance.

Thrasher knew she had to stay focused to get where she wanted to be.

"I think I knew if was realistic for me to make finals, but I was not focused on that," she told USA Today. "I was focusing on just shooting the best that I could, and that got me there."

She finished with a score of 208.0.
