According to TMZ Sports, the couple has been living separately while working through issues in their marriage.
A representative for Fisher and Govan told the outlet the two remain in regular communication and are focused on their family despite no longer living together.
The couple married in July 2021 during a ceremony in Malibu after postponing their original wedding plans because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They began dating in 2015, and Fisher proposed three years later in a moment that reportedly included their children.
This marked the second marriage for both.
Govan was previously married to former NBA player Matt Barnes, with whom she shares twin sons. Fisher was previously married to Candace Fisher, and they have four children together.
Fisher enjoyed an 18-year NBA career, winning five championships with the Los Angeles Lakers while playing alongside Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. He later served as head coach of the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Sparks.
Neither Fisher nor Govan has publicly commented beyond the statement provided to TMZ Sports, and no divorce filing has been reported.
