Florida takes surprising NFL hit along offensive line

Interesting choice.

Florida was expecting to lose a couple guys on defense in Quincy Wilson and Jalen Tabor, but not really along the offensive where there isn't a single senior. Offensive lineman generally don't forego their senior year unless they've had quite the exceptional junior year.

That is not a word to describe David Sharpe's season. Yet, the 6'6", 350-pound tackle is going pro as he announced on his Twitter:

Sharpe was a part of a young line that allowed 28 sacks on the season and had issues blocking for the run at times. While he has the size and potential to be a good lineman in the NFL, he hasn't exactly shown it on the field. He's going to get drafted by someone for that potential alone though and he could end up becoming a D.J. Humphries-like story where he turns into a decent enough pro in only a couple years.
