Matt Ryan Inducted Into Falcons Hall of Fame
At halftime, Matt Ryan was inducted into the franchise's Hall of Fame. It is one of the most esteemed honors in sports. In his Falcons career, which spanned 14 seasons, Ryan threw for 59,735 yards and 367 touchdowns.
Ryan also won the NFL MVP in 2016, the same year that he took the franchise to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, Atlanta infamously fell short, surrendering a 28-3 lead to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Ryan's induction into the Hall of Fame drew tons of reactions on social media.
"What an honor it must be for Matt Ryan to join legends like Arthur Blank in the Atlanta Ring of Honor," one user said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"They could never make me hate you Matt Ryan," another user said.

Raheem Morris Gets Honest on Kirk Cousins
Coming into this season, a lot of people felt that the Falcons had the formula to become a playoff contender. Especially after bringing in a veteran quarterback like Kirk Cousins.
But to this point, the Cousins hype train has not really left the station. Through four games he has a touchdown to interception ratio of 3:3. He also has thrown for just 864 yards on the year.
With Cousins struggling, many thought that the 36-year-old could have been dealing with an injury. But earlier this week, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that wasn't the case.
"I feel like Kirk is healthy," Morris said Monday. "He's been healthy since he's been here."
As for Cousins and the Falcons' offensive woes, Morris says that is just going to be a matter of trial and error.
"With Kirk being here, we've been doing the same thing since he's been here, and that's how we've planned on playing and we've played that way throughout," Morris added. "We've played that way for a minute, and we've done a bunch of different things in our case and everything we're going to do is figuring out how to win this football game. And that was the plan to go out there and win the football game."
