FSU defense dealt yet another blow after injury sustained in practice

Florida State takes yet another hit.

Florida State junior linebacker Jacob Pugh will not play Saturday after he reportedly suffered a concussion during practice earlier in the week, via College Football Talk.

According to the report, freshman Brian Burns is expected to take over Pugh's spot:

"Burns and some other guys [will get] in there," Fisher said in quotes distributed by the school. "They will. They've taken reps all year and Brian has played a ton of football. They should be ready to go."

Pugh's injury follows the trend after injuries to defensive back Nate Andrews and defensive back Derwin James.

Pugh has started six games this season for the Seminoles, who has registered 34 tackles and 3.5 sacks on the season. Burns has played in 10 games with 5.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss.
