Coming into this season the New York Jets were viewed as a team that had the opportunity to be a Super Bowl contender. But just four games into the season that notion already seems to be a wash. Especially after their latest loss to Bo Nix and the rebuilding Denver Broncos.

Garrett Wilson Calls Jets Offense "Bland"
Once again, the Jets' defense held up pretty well in their loss to Denver. The Broncos only scored 10 points and the defense forced one fumble, eight punts, and allowed just 186 yards of offense. But the offense struggled again, scoring 9 points and never reaching the endzone.
Despite having an assortment of weapons on offense with the likes of Breece Hall, Mike Williams, and Allen Lazard at the helm, New York has yet to find any offensive identity. Following the loss, Jets star wide receiver Garrett Wilson said that he thinks their defense is "bland."
"I don't think we do a lot of different stuff, to be honest. I watch football on Sundays and I see a lot of teams mix it up and stuff like that. I don't think we do that," Wilson said following their loss to Denver.
"I think we know our identity. It's just about going out and executing it or figuring out if it's going to work. I don't think we're trying a lot of different things."

Star Says His Route Tree is Different This Year
And from a personal standpoint. Wilson also noted that his route tree is not as diverse as it was in his first two seasons with the team.
"I know, personally, my route tree hasn't been what it has been the last two years as far as the stuff I've been running," he said.
It's worth noting that for the last two seasons, Garrett Wilson had been playing with former Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. This is his first season suiting up with Aaron Rodgers as QB1.
Fortunately for Rodgers, Wilson, and the Jets, help could be on the way. Multiple reports have confirmed that Las Vegas Raiders star Davante Adams has asked for a trade and the team is listening to offers. The Jets are expected to be among the top suitors.
