Giants' Malik Nabers Sends Strong Message to Cowboys' Trevon Diggs
As if the rivalry between the two franchises wasn't spicy enough, Giants' rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers just made things even spicier. During the offseason, Nabers engaged in a war of words with Cowboys standout quarterback Trevon Diggs.
Ahead of their matchup on Thursday Night, reporters asked the Giants rookie if he was looking forward to the matchup after his exchange with Diggs. But the rookie standout was more interested in letting his play of the field do the talking.
" I mean yeah. I mean it is what it is but I don't really want to talk about it anymore. It's game time now," Nabers said.
Malik Nabers and Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs had some back and forth on social media over the summer. The two will face off on Thursday.

Diggs, Nabers Beef Explained
The entire beef between Diggs and Nabers stemmed from a viral interview the Giants rookie did before he ever set foot on the football field. Nabers was asked which cornerback he was excited to line up against and he responded by saying Trevon Diggs.
Diggs took exception to Nabers' response and responded to him promptly with a direct tweet saying that the Giants had been "getting the belt for some years now."
Nabers added more fuel to the fire by tweeting song lyrics by rapper NBA YoungBoy which read "P***y want to Insta' beef, he Tweetin' and I see all of that."

Nabers may have a bit of a mouthpiece on him, but at least he has the bite to match his bark. In just three games this season he has snagged 23 receptions for 278 yards and three touchdowns — two of which came against the Cleveland Browns last week. And with Diggs being among the most notable lockdown defenders in the league it will surely be one of the most entertaining matchups of the season.
In addition, both teams need a win badly, sitting at 1-2 on the season. With both teams hungry for a victory it will interesting to see who comes out on top.
