According to the OC Register via the police, Robby Gordon's father, 69-year-old Robert Gordon, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and his wife, 57-year-old Sharon, from strangulation.
The deaths are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, per the report. A rifle was reportedly found in the house, but no drugs or other guns were found.
According to the report, Robby Gordon's father missed a doctor's appointment and they began a search when his dad's best friend found the bodies and called police around 5 p.m.
"This is devastating," Robby Gordon said, fighting back tears. "He taught so many, and I want everyone to know what a good man he was."
Praying for friends @RobbyGordon @BeccyGordon and the Gordon family during this difficult time. Hope they find strength and support. 🙏🏼
