The former NFL punter, ESPN personality and host of The Pat McAfee Show has been named co-owner of JAMS, a frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwich company, marking his first venture into the food and beverage industry.
McAfee announced the partnership this week as JAMS continues expanding its retail footprint across the country.
The company says McAfee's ownership stake goes well beyond lending his name to the brand. He is expected to help shape creative direction, marketing, strategic partnerships and long-term growth while also featuring JAMS across The Pat McAfee Show and his social media platforms.
The partnership carries a personal connection for McAfee.
"I grew up in a PB&J house in Western Pennsylvania," McAfee said in a statement. "That stayed with me throughout college and my time in the NFL. Those are my roots. To be a part of a brand that sells a product that reminds me of where I come from and has been a consistent part of my life in every stage is what it's all about."
Founded in 2025 by Connor Blakley and The DropOut Companies, JAMS markets itself as a healthier twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Each sandwich contains 10 grams of protein and is made without seed oils, high-fructose corn syrup or artificial dyes.
The company recently announced a licensing partnership with NFL Players Inc. and has attracted a growing list of athlete investors that includes Alex Morgan, Caleb Williams, J.J. Watt and now McAfee.
