Report: Top Tennessee assistant leaving to coach elsewhere

Head coach Butch Jones is already on the hot seat, and it will be interesting to see just how exactly he fixes this problem.

According to Rivals, Tennessee wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Zach Azzanni is leaving to coach receivers with the Chicago Bears.

Azzanni previously coached under Urban Meyer in 2010 at Florida in his first stint as passing game coordinator.

He bounced around at Western Kentucky and Wisconsin before taking the recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coaching job at Tennessee in 2013. He was eventually promoted to passing game coordinator and wideouts coach in 2015 and after just over two years on the job will now head to his first NFL gig.

In the same year the Volunteers lose quarterback Joshua Dobbs, they'll also lose their passing game coordinator.
