The UFC star won't participate at any media events leading up to UFC 207. According to Fox Sports, the only time Rousey will appear publicly, prior to the fight, will be at Thursday's weigh-in. She won't participate in any of the standard fare before big fights like this —- no open workouts, no press conference, and she won't even appear at the media day before the fight.

Rousey has made herself rather scarce since her last fight, a second-round knockout loss to Holly Holm in November of 2015 during which she lost her bantamweight belt. She's done a few select TV appearances —- Ellen and Conan immediately come to mind —- and may continue that pattern.
Her opponent and current champ, Amanda Nunes, was critical of her media blackout. She told Fox Sports:
"You guys (the media), you're part of our lives, part of our careers. We have to talk and speak to the media because this is part of our job. She's being so dramatic and weird about that. She knows this is normal."
In remarks to reporters, she also accused the UFC of coddling the former champion.
"I feel like UFC want to make it easy for her, so she doesn't feel like she's not the champion anymore. They want to do this to make her feel strong or something. They try to promote her so she can see that — 'Ronda, Ronda, Ronda."
Rousey's absence shouldn't be all that surprising. She's held a grudge against the media ever since her surprising lose to Holly Holm, feeling as if reporters had somehow turned on her.
Granted, Rousey looks absolutely shredded as she prepares for the fight. But you have to wonder how mentally prepared she'll be, after being out of the octagon so long.
Thursday's weigh-in will give us a clue as to where her mind is at.
