All seemed lost after Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams put his team on top 15-12 with just 25 seconds left in the fourth quarter. But as Washington Commanders quarterback Jalen Daniels pulled off another miracle as he has done so many times this season.

Social Media Erupts After Wild Jaylen Daniels Hail Mary
The Commanders had one last gasp, five seconds left with an eternity to go, and Daniels escaped the pass rush, threw up a prayer which landed in the hands of his wide receiver Noah Brown.

Fans across the league went wild with reactions on social media.
"Jayden Daniels. Noah Brown. The Greatest Game Winner in Redskins/Football Team/Commanders history," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"Remember where you were. Jayden Daniels magic. Wow," another fan added.
That play secured a walk-off victory for Washington, moving them to 6-2 on the season and keeping them the top dogs in the NFC East. Ahead of a big matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football nonetheless.
Commanders QB's Status Was Questionable For Bears Game
What's even crazier is that it was an uncertainty that Daniels would even be a participant in this game. The Commanders quarterback sustained a rib injury last week during their win over the Carolina Panthers. And Daniels had not even been a participant in practice most of the week. The Commanders had him listed as questionable as late as Friday, which is usually a tell-tale sign that a player will be a scratch up until Sunday's game.
But Daniels, the competitor that he is was not going to miss a potential quarterback duel between the number one (Caleb Williams), and number two NFL Draft picks from the previous year. After the game Daniels even said that he had doubts about suiting up for the game.
"NOTHING BUT GOD, MAN, NOTHING BUT GOD. WITHOUT HIM I DIDN'T EVEN THINK I'D BE ABLE TO PLAY THIS WEEK," Daniels said.
