Stephen Curry looked to remain optimistic in light of the results from Tuesday's presidential election.

Curry continued in his outpour of support for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris after his 118-112 win over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The former NBA champion was able to chalk it up to "a fair election" in response to Republican candidate Donald Trump's victory in the polls but was quick to assert that now is the time for the country to come together and ensure democracy is upheld.
"The whole part about how this country's supposed to work is everybody supporting each other and coming with the right intentions to lead the country in the right direction," said Curry. "That's my hope.
"I don't hold any resentment or ill will. You want these next four years to go great for everybody. We want accountability on that front too."
Curry and the Golden State Warriors took down a Boston team that won seven of its first eight games of the season. For a squad seemingly in a rebuilding stage, a win over last year's champs might indicate a positive sign. But the league's first unanimous MVP remained even-tempered when discussing his team's future, saying, "(there's a) long way to go."
"We haven't done anything yet," Curry told reporters. "A good team, or a relevant team, wins the games they are supposed to win, you steal a couple on the road against good teams, you protect your home court. We've done those things so far, but we got two more games on this road trip, two tough tests.
