Popularized by Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, the dab is a celebratory dance move that has invaded popular culture with about as much subtlety as an epileptic wielding a chainsaw.
But despite having long overstayed its welcome, the dab continues to stick around with as much persistence as your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving. Social media stars Logan Paul and Mark Dohner proved that when they compiled this video of them dabbing at just about every Olympic event.
Swimming? They dabbed. Gymnastics? Dab central. Volleyball? There was much dabbing. They even managed to fit in a respectful dab during the raising of the flags.
