On Friday afternoon, TMZ reported that actress Carrie Fisher suffered a massive heart attack while en route back to the United States.
Fisher was reportedly on a flight from London to Los Angeles amid her tour for her latest book, "The Princess Diarist."

"We're told the emergency occurred 15 minutes before the plane landed in L.A," TMZ reported. "A flight attendant asked if there were any medical personnel on board and an EMT who was sitting in the back of the plane came up to first class and administered life-saving measures."
According to the gossip website, Fisher was rushed to the hospital on the West Coast around noon.
Over the last several days, Fisher has documented her trip abroad on social media.
