Caitlin Clark Blocks Antonio Brown After Supposed Crude Post

Former NFL receiver Antonio Brown ended his career by being blocked by teams. Now, he's been blocked by the most popular athlete in the world at the moment, he revealed. That would be none other than Caitlin Clark, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star and No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA.

Brown revealed that Clark blocked him on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Why? We're not really sure. According to reports, Brown used the platform to attack Clark's appearance, perhaps multiple times, after her introductory press conference with the Indiana Fever. Brown posted a screenshot of Clark having blocked him.

Of course, that didn't stop Brown, who is clearly bored these days. He twice more posted about Clark after she blocked him.

Brown last played in the NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Tom Brady supposedly urged the team to sign him. This is the first he's made headlines since then.

As for Clark, it's been quite the week. Not only was she the top pick in the WNBA draft, but she also served as guest host of Saturday Night Live. She also was the subject of an awkward exchange involving a columnist from the Indianapolis Star.

Now, Clark said she is focused on just basketball. It's hard to know what Brown is focused on. Maybe just Clark.

"I think the biggest thing I'm trying to remember is how grateful I am to have this opportunity," she said. "You know there's so many people who would kill to be in my shoes. When things seem like they're long, you're tired and you feel like I have to do this, I have to do that, I try to remind myself how grateful I am to get these opportunities. I'm lucky to have these moments."

Clark is the all-time leading scorer in Division I.
