Clark suffered the injury in a July 15 game against the Connecticut Sun and was visibly emotional on the bench after exiting. The Fever star said she is disappointed to miss the event, which will be held in Indianapolis, but emphasized that rest is necessary.
"I'm incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can't participate in the 3-point contest or the All-Star Game," Clark said in a statement. "I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I'm looking forward to helping Sandy coach our team to a win. Can't wait to see you all out there!"
The 2024 No. 1 overall pick has started 13 games this season, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game while shooting 36.7% from the field and 27.9% from three. She was named Rookie of the Year last season and remains the WNBA's top attraction.

While Clark won't be suiting up this weekend, she'll still be present as a co-captain and honorary assistant coach under Sandy Brondello. The game will pit Team WNBA against Team USA in a showcase that serves both as an All-Star celebration and a tune-up for the Paris Olympics.
The Fever enter the break with a 12-10 record and rank in the top three league-wide in points per game, offensive rating, and net rating. Clark's playmaking has been central to Indiana's turnaround, but for now, the focus shifts to her health.
"I'm so excited for Indy to host WNBA All-Star this weekend," Clark said. "I know this will be the best All-Star yet."
