Caitlin Clark's Bobblehead Looks Nothing Like The New Face Of The WNBA

As the WNBA season has just gotten underway, all eyes have been on newly drafted first-overall pick Caitlin Clark, and I think she prefers that people look away when viewing her bobblehead.

The face of the toy has caught much buzz for all the wrong reasons, as it seems to share no resemblance to the next-generational talent. That is, if the Indiana Fever jersey on Clark's bobblehead is replaced with a Kings #10 jersey, then you could make a case that it is a Mike Bibby bobblehead.

In case you don't know what Bibby looks like:

Mike Bibby Biography - ESPN

The University of Iowa graduate has had her image and likeness blasted all over the place, so hopefully in the future, as the new face of the WNBA, Clark can have a different artist design her memorabilia.

In her first-ever career game in the WNBA, Clark scored 20 points, as she shot 5-of-15 shooting from the field and 4-of-11 from beyond the arc. The three-point shooting specialist didn't have a terrible debut, however, to mention, she did have 10 turnovers.

Then in her second game, Clark's performance went a little bit worse, recording a triple-single, nine points (1-of-7 3PT), seven rebounds, and six assists.

Nevertheless, it will take time for the 22-year-old future superstar to adjust to the big spotlight. Clark certainly has a bright future, and has undoubtedly given the WNBA recognition, bringing in new partnerships and marketing deals, as well as new perks, such as charter flights.

Many are calling the new hype surrounding the WNBA, the "Caitlin Clark effect." As to mention, ever since her arrival onto the scene, the Woman's National Basketball Association's popularity is at an all-time high; views, clicks, ticket and merchandise sales have all skyrocketed, with that in mind, unfortunately that includes a lot of bobbleheads being sold as well.
