The Indiana Fever stayed alive in the WNBA playoffs Tuesday night, but the biggest headline may have come from the stands.

Two Indiana fans were ejected from their courtside seats at Gainbridge Fieldhouse after an apparent exchange with Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray late in the Fever's 77-60 win.

With just over six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Gray suddenly turned toward the fans and appeared to respond to something shouted from the crowd, as caught on social media clips. She then pointed the situation out to security, who quickly escorted the pair out of the arena.

According to USA Today, Gray looked "visibly upset" after the confrontation. She walked back to the Dream bench, where a teammate tried to calm her down. Gray did not meet with reporters afterward.

On the court, the 2023 All-Star finished with nine points, seven rebounds and two assists — a quieter outing compared to her 20-point effort in Game 1 that helped Atlanta take the opener, 80-68.

"I give Indiana a lot of credit," Dream coach Karl Smesko said postgame. "We knew they'd come out, be competitive. They've been resilient all year, and they were very good today. They made us pay for our mistakes."

The Fever, led by Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, made sure the series heads back to Atlanta tied 1-1. Boston scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Mitchell added 16.

Now all eyes turn to Game 3, set for Thursday night in Atlanta. "I got a lot of confidence in this team," Smesko said. "I truly believe we'll play our best game of the series next game."

Winner moves on. Loser goes home.
