2x Super Bowl winning quarterback Eli Manning decided to challenge WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark to a mini basketball shooting competition while on his show.

That is, the two athletes faced off vs. each other in a Pop-A-Shot battle, when the Indiana Fever guard was making a guest appearance on "The Eli Manning Show," which had been filmed in New Orleans around the time of Super Bowl LIV.
Before getting started, Clark surprised the former NFL star, "I'm actually really bad at Pop-A-Shot."
Which had Manning in disbelief, "You're bad at Pop-A-Shot?"
And former Giants teammate, Shaun O'Hara, even said: "I don't believe it."
Well, Clark was right, as she may be used to shooting deep 3's rather than close-up shots on a mini hoop.
That is to say, in what some are calling a major upset, the former New York Giants QB defeated arguably the greatest woman shooter in basketball.
The final score was 76-51, in Eli's favor.
Yet, the 44-year-old did admit that he had been practicing all week for this moment, which may have given him an unfair advantage over the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year.

All in all, that didn't stop Eli from gloating over his win.
"We do a lot of games on this show with guests," Manning said. "I've never beat anyone before."
Clark responded, "I'm honored to be the first."
All in all, this Pop-A-Shot performance certainly did not mirror Clark's on-the-court performance in her first WNBA season, as she put up 19.2 points per game, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists, while being selected as an All-Star and making the All-WNBA first team.
As for Eli, this achievement will go right up there alongside his greatest accomplishments of defeating Tom Brady in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI.
