Ogunbowale, 29, had been accused of striking a security guard during an early-morning incident on March 5 at E11EVEN in Miami Beach. Police were called to the scene, and she was arrested and taken into custody without incident, according to authorities at the time.

Details surrounding the dismissal of the charge were not immediately available.

The incident reportedly followed a dispute involving a group that included Ogunbowale, prompting security personnel to intervene. Authorities said the situation escalated during that interaction, leading to the allegation that a guard was struck and knocked to the ground.

Ogunbowale has not publicly commented on the dismissal.

A four-time WNBA All-Star, Ogunbowale plays for the Dallas Wings. She had been in Miami celebrating a championship in the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league prior to the incident.

No further information on the case was immediately released.
