According to reports, Ric Flair's stepson, Sebastian Kidder, sent a message to his biological dad, Paul Kidder, just before he died on Saturday.

Gwinnett County Police Department shared the news on Monday, per TMZ. In view of the details, Kidder's father told police he received a text from Sebastian at around 4 pm, which was soon before his passing.
Upon receiving the message from his son, Paul Kidder contacted police. However, it was too late, as the 24-year-old was tragically found dead from a gunshot wound moments later.
Investigators did find a note that was left behind in Kidder's bedroom inside the family home in Georgia, but the message was not disclosed.
Ric Flair also lost his son Reid to a drug overdose in 2013. That is, he expressed his empathy to Kidder's biological parents in an Instagram message.
"After Hearing The News Of Sebastian's Passing," Flair said, "I Can Only Imagine What Wendy @thewonderouswendy & Paul Are Going Through Having Lost A Son Approximately The Same Age In 2013. I Know The Pain Of Your Loss Will Be With You The Rest Of Your Life. I Still Every Day Of My Life Think About Reid As You Will Continue To Think About Sebastian."
The WWE legend married Wendy Barlow, Sebastian's biological mom, in 2018 and started dating long before that. That is to say, Flair was in Sebastian's life for more than a decade.
Barlow responded to the tragic news of her son's passing, "I am devastated and shocked. This is an epidemic with your young men. And mental health..."
His passing was a surprise to the family, as he was an up-and-coming music artist and had made an appearance on Good Day Atlanta this past summer.
