After teasing his arrival to WWE, one of the biggest free agents in wrestling finally debuted

Former Impact Wrestling superstar Gunner finally arrived in WWE's NXT brand, debuting Thursday night in St. Petersburg.

The previously reported holdup that Gunner needed to take his physical with the promotion apparently is no longer an issue.

Gunner took to Twitter about a month ago to say that it's "Time to TakeOver".

Hard work pays off. I almost hung it up. I'm glad I didn't. World.....here I come. Time to TakeOver!

Gunner's tweet was an obvious take on NXT's TakeOver premier shows.

He's a former Impact World Tag Team Champion, TNA King of the Mountain Champion, NWA Mid-Atlantic Heritage Champion and NWA National Heavyweight Champion.
