Five-star running back Zamir White (6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Laurinburg, NC) is one of the top recruits of the 2018 class, and it looks like an overwhelming favorite is emerging in his recruitment.

Per 247Sports, Georgia is emerging as the outright favorite for White, as their Crystal Ball has swung heavily in favor of the Bulldogs over the past three days. This is a seismic shift from a previous report that saw Ohio State emerging as a potential contender.

247Sports also notes that White is coming off a visit to North Carolina, and that he is expected to visit North Carolina again ahead of his scheduled June 27 commitment. The Tar Heels may be the team immediately chasing Georgia with just two weeks to go ahead of his commitment.

White is a consensus five-star recruit, and is the No. 6 overall player and No. 1 running back of the 2018 class per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He rushed for over 2,000 yards and 41 touchdowns last season as a junior for his high school team.
