Asuka officially debuted at TLC Sunday night in Minneapolis, Minnesota, submitting Emma in the opening match.
Emma got a surprising amount of offense in during the event, appearing to have Asuka on the ropes on a few occasions.
After throwing Asuka off the apron to the outside, the former NXT Champion hit a super kick, then locked in the Asuka Lock for the submission victory.
Emma "won" the right to get dismantled by Asuka on Monday Night Raw in a match against Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox, Bayley and Sasha Banks.
