The Florida Gators have added a future non-conference game against the South Alabama Jaguars for 2020.

According to Pro Football Talk, Florida will pay South Alabama $1.2 million for the game, which will occur on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Ben-Hill Griffin Stadium.

The Gators will open the season against Eastern Washington, and they will likely have a conference game during the second week of the season between the two non-conference games. Florida usually plays Kentucky during that week.
Over the next four seasons, Florida has non-conference games scheduled against Michigan, Northern Colorado, UAB, Colorado State, Idaho, Miami (FL), Eastern Washington, South Alabama, and Florida State.
South Alabama now has several games scheduled Power 5 schools over the next several years. The Jaguars, who are in the Sun Belt Conference, have future games scheduled against Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Florida, Tennessee, and UCLA.
The Jaguars finished 6-7 last season, but they did pull off an upset of an SEC team last year. South Alabama defeated Mississippi State 21-20 to open the 2016 season.
