In a (very) unsurprising twist, the Ole Miss Rebels are having an extremely difficult time keeping committed prospects at the moment, in the aftermath of the highly visible Hugh Freeze scandal that cost the head coach his job. The bleeding has been swift and porous for the Rebels on the recruiting trail and, on Sunday evening, word broke that another prospect will be taking a look around, as three-star defensive line prospect Israel Antwine has reportedly decommitted from the program.

Antwins hails from Millwood High School (Okla.) and, while he isn't a massive name on the recruiting trail, this is yet another signal that things are not going well in Oxford. The 6'2, 286-pound defensive lineman is listed as the No. 13 prospect from the state of Oklahoma according to the 247Sports composite and Antwine had been pledged to Ole Miss since late May.
From an Ole Miss perspective, Antwine's other options (which now reportedly include Tom Herman and Texas) are of far lesser consequence than the utter reality that the program is in chaos. On the small-picture side, this is a three-star decommitment that would not make a peep under normal circumstances. With that said, the big-picture implications remain staggering and Ole Miss is not in a good place.
