National anthem protests continue in the NFL and, more and more, players around the league are being asked about their feelings when colleagues engage. This week, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was prompted on his thoughts about national anthem protests and whether he would consider participating in them when it comes to taking a knee or another form.

In addition to saying "no, not at all" when asked about whether he had a desire to join in, Prescott said the following:
"I mean, it's bigger than I think some of us think. I mean, it's just important for me to go out there, hand over my heart, represent our country and just be thankful. And not take anything I've been given and my freedom for granted."
This is a response that will certainly please some people while alienating others and that is the nature of the debate right now. Still, Prescott takes a stance that isn't negative toward his colleagues that have chosen to protest, but rather stays on a path of discussing his own feelings and desires.
Players will continue to be questioned about this topic and the answers will be very interesting in the future.
