On Sunday, Cassidy Lynn Langi, Harvey's wife, tweeted an update on their condition and thanked everyone for their support, saying that they "are focused on recovering from this."
According to NBC Boston, Langi's car was sandwiched in-between two others after being hit from the rear end. A driver of one of the other vehicles needed the Jaws of Life to be removed from the scene.
On Saturday, NESN's Doug Kyed reported that the couple experienced injuries that "are considered serious but not life threatening."
Langi, a rookie out of Brigham Young, signed a three-year contract with the Patriots in May after going undrafted. His deal was worth $115,000 in guaranteed money, which included a $100,000 base salary and a $15,000 signing bonus, according to NESN.
He was one of four undrafted players to make New England's 53-man roster this offseason
Langi registered one tackle this season during the Patriots' 36-20 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.
