The 2006 and 2007 Florida Gators men's basketball teams were a well-oiled machine.

They had experience, they had chemistry, and they knew how to win.
Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer went on to have successful NBA careers. Point guard Taurean Green and Lee Humphrey played overseas.
For Humphrey, he's back where his basketball career started.
Lee Humphrey's Basketball Career
For Lee Humphrey and @GatorsMBK we go back to 2007. Humphrey scored 14 points and helped lead Florida to a repeat of a National Championship with a 84-75 win over Ohio State. Humphrey is still the leader for “Most Made 3-point field goals in NCAA Tournament play” with 55. pic.twitter.com/0PtJj0GLUz

Humphrey was born and raised in Maryville, Tennessee. He tore it up at Maryville High School, racking up 2,257 points and several accolades including Tennessee's Class AAA Mr. Basketball.
The shooting guard committed to the University of Florida to play for head coach Billy Donovan.
In Gainesville, Humphrey found his stride as an upperclassmen alongside Noah, Horford, Brewer and Green. The crew was a dominant force in college basketball, and Humphrey's sharp-shooting ability was a big reason why.
UF went on to win back-to-back national championships, becoming the first repeat champions since Duke in 1991 and 1992. No team has done it since. Humphrey set some records along the way.
He finished his college career with the record for most three-point field goals in NCAA Tournament play with 55 in 14 games. The Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks and UCLA Bruins still have nightmares of Humphrey scorching the net. Literally for the Ducks.
He also holds the record for most consecutive games making a three-pointer in a season with 39. As for Florida basketball marks, Humphrey is the program's all-time leader in three-point field goals made in a season with 113. He also holds the career record for three-pointers with 288.
It didn't matter if it was a Saturday game on ESPN, the SEC Tournament basketball championship game or the Final Four, opponents hated seeing Humphrey get a clean look from downtown.
Humphrey wasn't selected in the NBA Draft but had a brief summer league stint with the Washington Wizards following college. After that, the world was his oyster. He played in Greece, Poland, Germany, France and Lithuania.
He retired from professional basketball in 2015.

If you hear a familiar voice when listening to Florida basketball games on the radio, your ears aren't deceiving you.
Humphrey filled in as a color analyst on the Gator Radio Network broadcasts during the 2018 Battle 4 Atlantis. He's been in the role alongside UF broadcasting legend Mick Hubert since.
He also stays involved in the game by coaching youth basketball players.
When he's not calling his alma mater's games, Humphrey and his family live in Jacksonville. He's worked for Pontoon Solutions—a human resources outsourcing company—since 2015.
Humphrey also has two young sons named Oliver and Jude with his wife and college sweetheart Chelsea.
Humphrey has found a good balance between his professional and personal life. You still don't want to leave him open beyond the arc.
