Nearly two weeks after Josh Williams defied NASCAR's orders to "park it" during the Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the 29-year-old racer earned himself a fitting sponsor in the form of Parking Guidance Systems.

On Wednesday, March 29, PGS, which specializes in parking management solutions for parking structures, announced a multi-race primary sponsorship with DGM Racing. The Texas-based company will sponsor Williams' No. 92 Chevrolet and the No. 91 Chevy of his teammate, Alex Labbe. PGS will make its DGM Racing debut on Labbe's car at the ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway.

"I am super excited to work with Parking Guidance Systems for the remainder of the season," Williams said in a statement. "Thankfully I won't have to worry about parking it in the wrong spot anymore!! Working with them is going to be a blast on and off the track supporting great causes. Welcome to the DGM family, now let's 'Park It' in victory lane!"
Derek Frantz, the Vice President of Business Development at PGS, added, "We are thrilled to be partner with Josh and DGM racing and hope that our parking guidance system will improve Josh's parking experiences in the future. We believe our company and mission to improve parking across the country is a perfect fit with Josh and his current situation."
Williams got to enjoy some more good news this week, as NASCAR announced that it had approved Williams' post-suspension waiver request, allowing him to remain playoff eligible.

Josh Williams, who is married to popular TikTok influencer Trazia Rae, first became synonymous with "parking it" during the RAPTOR King of Tough 250 on March 18 at Atlanta. It all started after Williams was involved in a collision on lap 27 of the Xfinity race, which caused some debris to fall from his stock car. Citing its damaged vehicle policy, NASCAR officials ordered Williams to park his car in the garage, officially ending his day on the track. Instead of complying, Williams parked his car on the start-finish line, got out, and walked to pit road. As punishment for his defiance, Williams was slapped with a one-week suspension and missed the following week's race at Circuit of the Americas.
Williams opted to make the most out of his suspension, and just a couple hours after NASCAR announced his penalty, he officially dropped a special "Park It" T-shirt, the proceeds of which will be going to several charitable organizations, including the Josh Williams Hospital Tour and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Apparently, the people over at Parking Guidance Systems appreciated Williams' snarky merch, and here we are. You gotta love a good full-circle NASCAR moment.
