The Colorado Buffaloes finished their first year under coach Deion Sanders this past weekend with a loss to the Utah Utes. In the process, they not only fell to 4-8 this season, but they also lost another recruit.

The Buffaloes started 3-0 this season with wins over TCU, Nebraska and Colorado State — and they seemed to have the college football world in the palm of their hand. As a result, they received plenty of attention, including generating hype that appealed to recruits including quarterback Antwann Hill.
After going 1-8 in their final nine games, the program started losing recruits, with Hill being the latest.

Hill originally committed to Colorado on Oct. 20. He's rated as the No. 3 quarterback in the 2025 class but was open to reclassifying to the 2024 class. However, he's now decided to stay in the 2025 class and reopen his recruitment.
"Colorado is still a top priority for me," Hill told ESPN. "I really just want to take the process slower and make sure I'm making the right decision for me and my family at the end of the day. I'm going to get back out there on the market and make the right decision."
At 6-foot-5, Hill had 2,732 yards and 31 touchdowns this past year. He had 3,663 yards and 40 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2022.
We'll see how the Buffaloes and Coach Prime are able to rebound moving forward.
