James Harden Passes Ray Allen For 2nd All-Time On NBA Made 3’s List But Says No One Will Ever Pass Stephen Curry At No. 1

Following a win vs. the Utah Jazz, James Harden has passed Ray Allen on the NBA's all-time made three-pointers list.

That is to say, Harden now has 2,975 made 3's (36.3% 3PT) in 1,086 career games, while Allen made 2,973 3's (40% 3PT) in 1,300 games, but did it on 750+ less attempts.

After accomplishing this feat, Harden, 35, spoke on how much it means to him.

"Unbelievable accomplishment. Just a testament to the amount of work that I've been putting in. As I get older and just chip away at an unbelievable career, I start to accomplish things like that. So I don't ever want to take it for granted. I just want to give motivation to the youth and every other person that's chasing a dream to play professional basketball or whatever it is. So it's an honor."

To point out, there is now only one player, Stephen Curry, who stands in the way of Harden becoming the all-time leader in 3's made. However, Harden says that he and maybe no one else has a chance to break Curry's record (currently 3,782 career 3's).

"I'm one of the most confident guys that we have in this league," Harden said. "But no, I probably won't catch Steph. And I don't think anybody will honestly... I don't know man... he can shoot the s*** out the ball... So, somebody has to have an unbelievable career, shoot the ball well and make a lot of 3s. I mean if it happens, it's going to be when we're not here anymore. So that'll be in there for a minute."

Harden's Clippers defeated Curry's Warriors on Monday night, 102-99.
