Following the game, the 45-year-old coach was asked about his heated exchange.
Shout out to the fan who had Matt LaFleur & the Packers crashing out before the game started. That’s what you call home field advantage. pic.twitter.com/vZUtucRNcq

"I've never been a part of something like that. He was talking junk to our players, giving them the throat slash sign," LaFleur said. "You're trying to de-escalate it and then he gets into my face... I thought it was pretty unsportsmanlike, like I've never seen that."
LaFleur continued to talk about the security, or rather lack thereof.
"I've been on many fields and usually they police that much better. I thought it was an arrogant fan that wanted to get in part of the action... I would like to see security or someone step in there and get 'em out of there. He shouldn't be doing that."
Certainly, Lions fans are known to get rowdy, as last night a fan went viral for grating cheese in front of the TV broadcast camera.

Heading into the game, LaFleur had an 18-2 record as head coach in December. Not to mention, he also has the second most wins by an NFL head coach (68-35) after their first six seasons with a team.
The Lions have now won 11 straight games, which is a franchise record, as they improve to a league-best 12-1 record. In view of LaFleur's Packers, they are now 9-4 but will more than likely be able to have a chance to battle for an NFC wildcard spot.
