The two former football players and Omaha Productions are diving deep into the world of NASCAR with their new show, Racin' With The Boys.
According to a press release, the new NASCAR-themed podcast will feature Compton and Lewan learning the intricacies of big-time stock car racing. They will sit down to interview drivers and celebrity fans over 14 episodes, starting on May 28 with Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney.
These episodes will air on the official Bussin' With The Boys YouTube channel. The channel will have a dedicated playlist for these NASCAR episodes.
The two former players will also attend the Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday, May 31, so that they can meet people throughout the industry. This includes drivers, fans, and personalities.
"Now that the NFL Draft has passed, we have a lot of time until next football season, so we were in search of a new sport to follow," said Lewan.
"We've decided to make NASCAR our summer vacation hobby, and learn everything we can in the shortest amount of time possible."
The launch of Racin' With The Boys is not the first time that the two hosts have dipped their toes into the world of NASCAR. They have previously interviewed some prominent figures from the sport. This includes Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Blaney.
This new endeavor is far more in-depth considering that they will focus on actually learning the sport and why countless people love it.
"Whatever The Boys do... we're all in," said Compton. "Racin' With The Boys is no different. So, we're going to be fully immersed, and get as involved as possible with all parts of the NASCAR world. We're excited to partner with NASCAR to bring our ideas to the sport in our own way."
Lewan, the 11th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, spent his entire career playing for the Tennessee Titans. He lined up at offensive tackle while protecting multiple quarterbacks. He earned three trips to the Pro Bowl.
Compton entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent, but he built a nine-year career while playing linebacker for multiple teams. He spent five seasons with the Washington Commanders, two with the Tennessee Titans, one with the Oakland Raiders, and a partial season with the Las Vegas Raiders.
