This woman posted a video on social media during a confrontation with Smith. The two argued, and Smith also told an unidentified person over the phone that she had just called the police.
The woman then responded with "Geno just beat my (expletive), that's why," Kristen replied. "You ran outside and attacked me, (expletive)."
The woman ran to the street before turning back and continuing to argue with Smith, who ultimately climbed into the driver's side of an SUV. The video also showed multiple police officers talking to Smith in the driveway of the home.
"Today is the DAY! GENO SMITH beat my (expletive) cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can't be left alone with him because he'd rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty," the woman wrote in the social media video. She also wrote "Charges pressed" before the video ended.
Officials confirmed to TMZ Sports that they looking into the assault allegations and that the case remains under review.
Kennedy, the mother of Smith's child, seemingly addressed the accusations with multiple posts on her Instagram Stories. She first posted a photo showing the quarterback sleeping with his son, Seven, on his chest. She then posted a "Happy Father's Day" message showing Smith holding his son at a football stadium.
"Geno is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son," the woman said on her Instagram Stories. "Let's kill that narrative. Don't get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction."
She continued and posted screenshots of an email to an unidentified person, as well as a text message about "Kristen." She wrote that "this lady is absolutely obsessed with me and my child. Has been for a long time."
The posts continued with several screenshots of messages about Kristen. Kennedy used them to defend Smith, and she made multiple comments about getting a lawyer.
