Arrest Warrant Issued for Bill Belichick's Daughter-in-Law

The Belichick family is making headlines again, though this time it has nothing to do with football.

According to multiple reports, Jen Belichick, the wife of Steve Belichick and daughter-in-law of legendary coach Bill Belichick, is wanted after allegedly failing to appear in court over a speeding citation in North Carolina.

The incident reportedly stems from a traffic stop in May, when Jen Belichick was allegedly caught driving 88 mph in a 70 mph zone in Brunswick County. She was cited for misdemeanor speeding and ordered to appear in court last week.

Prosecutors say she never showed. As a result, a judge reportedly issued an order for her arrest.

It's unclear whether Belichick has since turned herself in or been taken into custody. She also has the option of having an attorney address the matter or asking the court to recall the arrest order and schedule a new court appearance.

Neither Jen Belichick nor the Belichick family has publicly commented on the situation.

The latest development comes after Jen found herself in the spotlight for reasons unrelated to the legal matter.

Over the past year, reports have pointed to tension between her and Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. Jen also publicly questioned Hudson's involvement during Belichick's now-viral CBS interview, fueling speculation about friction within the family.

Now, another unexpected chapter has been added to the family's eventful offseason. Whether the legal issue is resolved quickly remains to be seen, but it's certainly not the kind of attention anyone associated with the legendary coach was hoping to receive.
