The Timberwolves guard, 24, sparked rumors of a wedding when he appeared at Fanatics Fest. He wore a black band on his ring finger. People then viewed records that confirmed that he had married Jackson, 37, in a July 16 ceremony.

The exact start date of this relationship remains unknown, but the best estimate is that they have been together since at least 2020. Jackson posted a photo of them together that year. She has since attended countless Timberwolves games while watching Edwards in action.

The couple are also parents. They share 2-year-old daughter Aislynn.

Edwards, a four-time All-Star, just finished up his sixth season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played in a career-low 61 games, but he averaged a career-best 28.8 points. He also averaged five rebounds and 35.0 minutes played during the 2025-26 season.

The Timberwolves went 49-33 during the regular season and secured a spot in the playoffs. They then defeated the Nuggets during the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The playoffs ended in the second round. The Timberwolves faced off with the Spurs and lost the series 2-4. The Spurs went on to win the Western Conference before losing in the NBA Finals to the Knicks.

Edwards will be back with the Timberwolves for the 2026-27 season and beyond. He is currently playing on the five-year, $244,623,120 contract that he signed in 2023. He will count $48,924,624 against the salary cap this season and then $52,298,736 in 2027-28.

The final year of his contract, barring any changes, will be 2028-29. He will then become a free agent ahead of the 2029-30 season.

The Timberwolves will continue to rely on him while aiming to return to the playoffs. This is an NBA team that reached the Western Conference Finals in 2023-24 and 2024-25 before falling short last season. The Timberwolves have never reached the NBA Finals.
