Ryan Blaney has unveiled a special helmet that he will wear during the race weekend at Iowa Speedway. This helmet is one big tribute to Kyle Busch, who passed away suddenly on May 21 at the age of 41.

This helmet, which features the Menards logo, has M&M's in multiple spots while referencing Busch's longtime sponsor. It also has many photographs highlighting milestone wins from the two-time Cup Series champion's career.
The TNT Sports broadcast only provided a brief look at the helmet, but the cameras showed Busch's championship win at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2019 and the Interstate Batteries car from his 200th combined national series win at Auto Club Speedway in 2019.

Another milestone moment featured on the helmet is an Xfinity Series — now O'Reilly Auto Parts Series — win at Nashville Superspeedway in 2021. This particular win marked Busch's 100th in the secondary series.
Blaney said that he has about seven or eight wins included on the helmet. He said the list included Busch's Bristol tripleheader sweep, both of the championship wins, his first Busch Series win, first Cup Series win, the 100th Xfinity win, the 200th NASCAR win, and the Brickyard 400 win.
This will not be a helmet that Blaney wears for a considerable amount of time. Instead, he will have it only for this weekend at Iowa Speedway. He will then donate it to the Busch family and Brexton Busch.
"Helmets are a unique thing in our sport," Blaney said on Saturday. "We design them and a lot of them have special meaning. It's my way of showing my respect for Kyle Busch and the Busch family.
"I hope to run it for one race and give it to Brexton and the Busch family and they can do what they want with it."
Gifting the helmet to Brexton is fitting for Blaney, a racer who grew up on the circuit with his father Dave. He knows the experience of having a driver as a father while simultaneously pushing for a racing career of his own.
"Seeing the videos of Kyle with Brexton and how proud Kyle was of Brexton, and how Brexton wanted to do what his dad did, because I was the same way," Blaney told media members mere days after Busch's passing in May.
"I just wanted to do what my dad did, and I got lucky, I was able to do it, so I can connect to that there."
Blaney will showcase this helmet as he leads the field to the green flag at Iowa Speedway. He won the pole on Saturday afternoon by posting the fastest qualifying lap. Kyle Larson qualified second.
This race will take place at 3:30 p.m. ET on USA Network as Blaney pursues his second career Cup win at Iowa Speedway.
