Spire Motorsports owner Jeff Dickerson turned heads when he referenced a "crashing cars contest" amid an ongoing conflict between Brad Keselowski and Carson Hocevar.

Yet, the RFK Racing driver and owner is not backing down from any challenges, whether they come from a driver or a fellow team owner.
"Bring it. I'll fight back with anybody in the garage," Keselowski said Saturday at World Wide Technology Raceway.
This situation goes back to the Chase opener at Darlington Raceway. Contact from Hocevar turned Keselowski into the outside wall and then another tap sent the No. 6 Ford Mustang spinning toward the apron of the track.
Once the race ended, a fiery Keselowski vowed payback while walking through the garage. He said that "his day is coming, and it's coming hard. Watch out, Carson."

Dickerson then appeared on The GluckCast during the week and said that Keselowski had been racing Hocevar "extremely hard" for 12 laps. He also made a pointed comment about potential retribution in the coming races.
"We don't want to get in a crashing cars contest," Dickerson told host Jeff Gluck. "They've got two cars in the Chase, too. What, he wants to dump Carson so then Carson goes and gets (RFK's Chris Buescher)?
"...I can tell you, if Carson's going to get wrecked, there will be a commensurate response."
Keselowski heard these comments, and he responded quite bluntly. He said that he doesn't care about opinions from people who aren't in the race cars.
So how exactly does Keselowski approach the conflict with Hocevar when trying to teach him a lesson could result in an RFK Racing car getting wrecked?
He doesn't have the exact answer at this moment. The driver-owner will simply approach the situation as something fluid, and he will make a decision in the heat of the moment.
Sure, NASCAR could choose to penalize him for exacting revenge after making comments, but that's also a risk he's willing to take.
"I think you just got to go race and figure it out with the circumstances as they unfold," he said.
