Oracle Red Bull Racing has provided an important update about the 2027 Formula 1 (F1) season. The team has solidified its lineup.

According to an announcement on Wednesday ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Isack Hadjar will return to the team in 2027. He will continue competing for Red Bull Racing after signing a contract extension.
He will also continue working as a teammate to Max Verstappen, who signed a multi-year extension earlier this season.
The news comes as Hadjar returns from a three-race absence due to a wrist injury. He missed the events at Zandvoort, Monza, and Madring after a training incident. Liam Lawson served as the replacement driver for this stretch.

"I am really excited to continue with Oracle Red Bull Racing," said Hadjar in a press release. "I came to this team eight months ago and immediately understood the scale and ambition of this organisation.
"There are so many talented people at the factory, and you're aware of the privilege of driving for such an incredible team alongside a four-time World Champion like Max (Verstappen).
"From the moment I signed, I set out to dedicate myself to the team, and with the support of Laurent (Mekies) and everyone in Milton Keynes, I've been able to justify the faith they've had in me.
"I'm constantly looking to listen, learn, and push myself further every single day, which only makes me more excited about what lies ahead."
This team has been a supporter of Hadjar since 2022 when he joined the Junior Team. He rose through Formula 3 and Formula 2 while competing for a title.
He then moved to F1 in 2025 while driving for Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. He scored his first podium finish in the Dutch Grand Prix, and he ended the season 12th in the standings.
Hadjar replaced Yuki Tsunoda at Red Bull this season. He has reached eighth in the standings and scored a podium finish despite missing the past three Grands Prix.
Now, he will close out the 2026 season after returning to full health. He will then turn his attention to the 2027 campaign and more opportunities to pursue his first Grand Prix victory.
