According to an announcement from MLB Network, Intentional Talk will end after this season. The final show will air on Nov. 4, 2026, ending a run that began way back on Opening Day in 2011.

"Intentional Talk has been an MLB Network institution for 16 seasons, showcasing baseball's great personalities and laugh-out-loud moments to generations of fans," the network said in a statement.

"From 'The Best Interview in Baseball' to 'Got Heeeem,' we thank every person who has contributed to the show's fantastic run, especially the real 1-5 and '04 champ Kevin Millar, who has been part of IT since day one.

"We share our gratitude to Siera Santos, Ryan Dempster, and Kevin for the last four years and look forward to the trio and fans celebrating the show's significant success and impact on the game during the World Series, and a final show on Wednesday, November 4."

This baseball-themed sports show, which also had a side podcast, has featured no shortage of big names coming together to discuss the top storylines in the sport.

Millar, who won a World Series with the Boston Red Sox in 2004, has been the mainstay on the program since the first day. He has shared hosting duties with Santos and Dempster since the 2023 season.

The list of hosts also included Chris Rose (2011-20), a man who has spent extensive time working for both the NFL and MLB Networks. Broadcaster Stephen Nelson then took over for Rose in 2021, and he remained a co-host of Intentional Talk until 2023.

This show had current and former players and managers making appearances over the years. Many shared stories from their career. This included players who crossed paths with Millar during their careers, a group featuring David Ross and Rich Hill.

Former player and manager Terry Francona made regular appearances while essentially becoming an honorary member of the group.
