Paul and WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis will meet in an exhibition bout on Nov. 15 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The fight, first reported by Ring Magazine on Wednesday, will stream live on Netflix.

Paul had been negotiating to fight heavyweight star Anthony Joshua earlier this year, but the two sides could not reach an agreement. Instead, Paul turns his attention to Davis, who has carried the WBA lightweight belt since 2023.

Paul's most recent appearance in the ring came in June against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Paul won that fight by unanimous decision. Days later, Chavez was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and deported to Mexico, where he remains in custody.

Davis, meanwhile, has his own unsettled business. He was scheduled for a rematch with Lamont Roach on June 21 after the two fought to a majority draw on March 1 in Brooklyn. The result shocked the boxing world and stirred controversy, but no new date for a rematch has been set.

Outside the ring, Davis was arrested last month after an alleged domestic incident involving his girlfriend. Prosecutors later decided against pursuing charges.

The size difference between Paul and Davis will be hard to ignore. Paul fought at 200 pounds against Chavez, while Davis has spent his career at 135 pounds. Exhibition or not, it creates a striking contrast.

Paul enters the fight with a 12-1 professional record. Davis remains undefeated at 30-0-1. The matchup brings together boxing's biggest social media draw and one of its pound-for-pound champions in a pairing that promises both intrigue and spectacle.
