Former five-star recruit being held out indefinitely due to FBI investigation into his school

Could more be coming soon?

Auburn was one of the schools involved in the FBI investigation that ultimately forced Louisville to fire coach Rick Pitino. Now it looks like the Tigers are taking some preemptive action to avoid any issues with the NCAA over the probe and they have decided to hold out two players in response to the investigation.

Wiley is a former five-star recruit in the class of 2016 and was ranked as the No. 17 player in the country for that class according to ESPN. He also had offers from Duke, Alabama, Florida and Kansas among other top tier programs. The 6-foot-11, 260-pound forward averaged 8.8 points, 1.3 blocks and 4.7 rebounds in 18 minutes per game last season.
