Former five-star forward and Kansas Jayhawk Billy Preston has made a stunning decision on his basketball future. Rather than try to fight for eligibility for the rest of his freshman season, he will go overseas and play pro ball ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound forward hasn't gotten to play at all this year because of some eligibility issues and that obviously won't help him come draft time. So even if it's late, getting overseas to play some ball should help Preston give scouts an idea of what he can do and if he would be worth a first round pick.
