Bagley is from Phoenix, but plays high school ball for private school powerhouse Sierra Canyon in Los Angeles. Bagley has been described as a “once in a decade type of player” by ESPN recruiting guru Paul Biancardi because of his ability shoot the ball at all three levels — at the rim, mid-range and beyond the arc — and handle the ball in addition to playing with his back to the basket.
