Florida State was forced to cancel a game with Louisiana-Monroe earlier in the season due to Hurricane Irma and there were reports earlier in the week that they would reschedule the game after it was initially cancelled outright. It looks like coach Jimbo Fisher is advocating for the makeup game as well now after his team beat Syracuse 27-24 to move to 3-5 on the season.

Athletic director Stan Wilcox said an announcement will come this week and he will ultimately make the decision on the game, but a win over Syracuse likely helps make the case to add it back. Here's what Fisher said exactly after the game against Syracuse on potentially making the game up at a later date.
"[We] most likely will. We'll have to talk to Stan, we'll see [and] make those decisions," Fisher said.
Assuming the Seminoles beat Delaware State and can beat the Gators in the Swamp, but ultimately lose to Clemson next week, then they will need the game against Louisiana-Monroe to get to six wins and bowl eligibility for the 36th consecutive year. It's the longest streak in college football and they would need that extra game against ULM, likely to be played Dec. 2 in order to make it 36 straight years.
